If you already have in mind exactly what you want, a quote form can be sent for you to complete and return. Please feel free to send any pictures to help with the design process and price quotation.

 

Wedding Consultations & Samples

A wedding cake consultation can be arranged, free of charge, so that we can go through your requirements in person.

The consultation will be an informal meeting where we can discuss all of your cake design ideas and wedding details.

If you feel that you do not need a consultation but would like to try some samples there will be a £5 charge for 3 different flavours. This will be discounted off of the price of all ordered wedding cakes. The samples can be collected upon prior arrangement, or I will deliver free of charge locally.

Consultations must be booked in advance and are held at my premises in Whitchurch.

Order Notice

Wedding Cakes
A minimum of 12 weeks notice is required

Celebration Cakes
A minimum of 4 weeks notice is required

Deposits

Wedding Cake Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required upon order confirmation.

Celebration Cake Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required upon order confirmation.

Final Payments

I will accept cash, cheque and automatic bank transfers (BACS).

Wedding Cakes
Final payment is due one month before the wedding

Celebration Cakes
Final payment is due 12 days before delivery/collection

Cake Design Alterations

Design alterations can be made up to (but no later) than 4 weeks before collection/delivery. If the alteration affects the cost then your balance will be adjusted accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your order for any reason up to 4 weeks before the event all monies paid will be refunded (excluding the non-refundable deposit). If your order is cancelled less than 4 weeks from the event date, you shall receive a refund of 25% of the total cost already paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

Fresh & Silk Flowers

I specialise in making sugar flowers. However, I can use silk flowers or liaise with your florist if you would prefer to have real flowers.
Please note that not all real flowers are suitable for use as a cake decoration. Please ask your florist for details regarding toxicity. I cannot be held liable for any contamination to my cakes that may arise from their misuse.

Cupcake Stand Collection & Damage Deposit

A stand is supplied free of charge with all cupcake towers. I will then collect the stand after the event (delivery fee will be doubled). If you would prefer to return the stand yourself it must be returned within 5 days.

A cheque for £50 will be required as a damage deposit. This will be returned providing the stand is complete and undamaged.

Cake Decorations

Please ensure that all inedible items are removed before consumption (ribbon, support dowels etc). If you decorate the cake yourself with any additional items please ensure that they are suitable for use with food products.

Storage

Storage instructions will be provided with the cake. Please be aware that cakes covered in fondant icing should not be placed in the refrigerator as decorations may spoil. Most of my cakes should be consumed within 5 days. I cannot be held liable for cakes that are stored incorrectly or consumed after the 5 days.

Damage to Cakes

I will not be liable for anything that may happen to the cake after it has been delivered (or collected) and signed for.
