About Bonita Cakes

Bonita Cakes has been open for business since August 2010 and is owned by Josie Rodrigues.

‘I previously worked as a pastry chef at a prestige restaurant, and I studied Art & Design at college. I wanted to combine the two together and discovered that I had a passion for designing, making and decorating cakes. I have also recently completed a City & Guilds course in confectionary and sugarcraft, which included a Food Hygiene module.

After receiving such positive feedback when making cakes for friends and family, I then decided that I would like to turn my talents into a career’.
